Welcome to FoodandWineDirectory.com.

Building this site started as a selfish endeavor to comprise a directory of my favorite foodie websites into one convenient location. Through the process I have discovered that my passion for all things food is very much alive and well. 

About Me:

I was born in Southern Virginia.  I have made a home in various locations including: Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Florida, and Minnesota.  I currently reside in Arizona and have to say I am proud to call the desert home.  

I am a life-long certified foodie with a background as a former chef, caterer, restaurateur, and hotel owner.  I am an avid nutritional researcher and advocate for natural health and healing methods.  

I maintain two weblogs: GuideToLifeForWomen.com and FoodandWineDirectory.com.

Previously, I have written for various In-House Trade Newsletters and I released a Book of Poetry in 2009, Riddles, Rhymes, and Stop Signs.

I enjoy golf, cooking, entertaining, gardening, reading, wine, and learning new things.
